Happy Mother's Day!
Today, as most of you should know (unless you're awful and don't love your mother, or your mother is a raging hosebeast) is Mother's Day. Today we buy cheap flowers for our mom, or a sappy card, or a steak dinner at Logans. But, for those of us with small demon spawn children, we receive homemade cards. So, without further ado, I bring you...

Layla trying to make a purse souffle reminds of the time my kid once washed my cell phone (along with dishes), then dried the phone in the microwave while I was sleeping. I was so proud he put out the fire himself without injury to himself or waking me up. (It was the smoke detector going off from the counter-top smoking that made me shoot out of bed)
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!! You've earned it! For my third Mother's Day present, I got a tattoo. It was less painful than birth and parenting.
LMAO! 'I'm exploding with love for you,' what a classic. If you did actually make mother's day cards, I'd buy them...not sure my own mum would find them half as funny as I do though.

I drew possibly *two* pictures in paint for my blog before I gave up. It takes WAY TOO LONG to accomplish anything there, and then, when I'd f*** up it'd be over.
ReplyDeleteI've just taken to drawing my pictures by hand and then scanning them in.
Much less colourful, but easier on my nerves.
